This Linux Auto Typer has been downloaded 1398 times.
Download and install xvkbd. Check your package manager to see if it is available there first.
Apt-Get (Universe Repository) apt-get install xvkbd Portage emerge xvkbd FreeBSD Ports cd /usr/ports/x11/xvkbd && make install clean
You will also need GTK+ 2.x. Once you have those two requirements, you can run the auto typer. It will work in any X program, and can be used as an alternative to the Windows Runescape Auto Typer. Future updates will be located here.
If your system does not have a binary available, or you want to modify something, you can compile the autotalker.c with the following command using gcc.
gcc -Wall -g autotyper.c -o autotyper `pkg-config --cflags gtk+-2.0` `pkg-config --libs gtk+-2.0`

03-28-2008I installed the packages listed above. I download and open the autotyper-x86.tar.gz and it opens. When i go to extract it the extraction window opens, but the folder cannot be selected. How do i install this? I have Ubuntu 7.10

In the directory that holds autotyper-x86.tar.gz do the command
tar xvfz autotyper-x86.tar.gz
and it will extract, then you can run it.

04-20-2008That depends. If you have the knowledge to compile this c application on a mac, then it should run fine. I don't have a mac, I can't compile a binary for you.
