Now Old School RuneScape is Available to Everyone

New Content at Old School RuneScape

The developers of the Old School version of MMORPG RuneScape, whose servers opened on February 22, 2013, took a rather unusual step. They added brand-new content to the game. Players now have the opportunity to stroll through a new continent called Zeah and pick any part of it for the game. To be more precise, only the Great Kourend city was available so far. But no worries — the team will add other locations soon.

And in the “new” city, you have to find five houses, any of which you can join and thus get access to mini-games and not only:

• Shayzien: law, order, and protection. Earn a reputation with them, and you will be given new armor sets;
• Piscarilius: fishing, theft, import/export, and transportation. Thanks to this house, you will learn how to catch anglerfish (it restores health);
• Lovakengj: ore mining and blacksmithing. You will have access to a subversive mini-game to get resources and mining experience from;
• Arceuus: magic, rune creation, and religion. You will learn how to craft soul and blood runes in RuneScape;
• Hosidius: farming and cooking. Get access to city kitchen locations. You will also have access to the Tithe mini-game.

Eastern Lands Become Available in Old School RuneScape

Apart from the global content change, MMORPG RuneScape received a major update — players are available a completely new content labeled “Eastern Land,” which was added by the decision of 100,000 players. They all voted for this add-on. With the new game map, you will go to uncharted seas, where millions of islands complement the Polynesian archipelago. Adventurous players will even be able to claim their own island.

The Whale’s Maw, Waiko and Aminishi Islands are the first islands in the west of the new mainland that are available now. Indigenous local people in that area have never heard of the adventures of the players, so you will have to regain fame and fortune. Thus, more and more islands will open in the Eastern lands, and the content will constantly expand.
